Rodarte’s Spring 2013 show introduced the latest jewelry must-have: the earring cuff. The bold metal ear art turns what is normally a feminine piece into something more punk rock. I like the play between futuristic and medieval seen through this latest statement piece.

Shenae Grimes Alexandre Herchcovitch Spring 2013 NYFW Show

Checkered garments in vibrant colors have been making an appearance on the runway. Yesterday’s plaid is today’s checker and Alexandre Herchovitch’s Spring 2013 line had no shortage of the boxy print. The loose fit and punchy colors gave the runway looks an 80’s feel. I may need to stock up on those colorful lace-up booties that made their way down the runway too.
