Shenae Grimes

It’s a Wrap!

Shenae-Grimes-Jeans-and-Sparkles

Pulled out an old favorite for my Season 4 wrap party the other night. It was a day to eve shindig and I felt this slouchy, bedazzled Philip Lim jacket was the perfect crossover piece for the event! Kept it super simple with black jeans n black accessories as to avoid sensory-overload…it can be tough to pull off the walking disco-ball look, how do you guys think I did?

Comfy, Cozy Street Glam!

Shenae-Grimes-Red-Pants

Casual day-look with a fun pop of color! My cozy Rag n Bone knit was brought to life by these bright red Black Orchid jeans (their denim always fits me best!) and polished off with some hardware-heavy Jeffrey Campbell’s to add a little height. Whaddaya think?

Wound up home with a few friends the other night and everyone started futzing with the camera. Check out Tommy modeling my almost complete, GIANT hand-painted Canadian flag and our quality balcony hang :P

LBD With a Pop of Orange

Found this old Ecco dress tucked away in a suitcase I’d lent to my grandma for a trip a while back and was so glad to be reunited with it once again! It’s super easy to throw on with a pair of heels for a night out with its lightweight, comfy fabric and strategically layered shape. Since I opted for black on bottom, I decided to punch up the look with some bright orange lips on top. It’s a little bold for my comfort zone but I’m digging the fun alternative to red, what do you guys think?

Boardwalk Stroll Couture

Threw on this hippie-dippy outfit for a stroll on the Venice boardwalk the other day, seemed appropriate. Picked up this awesome layered-print skirt at a little shop on Abbott Kinney a while back and finally got to rock this turquoise gem I got at the Rosebowl flea market months ago. I never do strapless but felt it was the only thing that would properly showcase the beautiful metal choker and topped the look with some well-worn leather boots, ready for some ample stroll-age. :)
