Q. Laraa –  I see that you love fashion. For me you are a fashion icon. What item can you not live without right now?

A. Thank you very much Lara! Means a lot to hear that! The item I cannot live without right now is my oversized green cargo jacket that was 10$ from an Army Surplus store and my gold studded Chloe booties that are all over my blog haha can’t get enough of them! Xx

Q. shanaefan – hey shanae, i really had this one major question. because of the heavy humidity in my region, its totally impossible for me to put on any makeup, i basically sweat it all out. havent found anything yet to keep the sweat packed in. so could you lend some ideas of looking pretty and keeping it simple with the heat.

A. Hello!  It’s good to hear from you! Yes, summer humidity is the worst! I try to keep my makeup pretty light, and just use waterproof eyeliner and mascara.  If it’s extremely hot, I just moisturize with a tinted foundation and leave the heavy stuff at home! Hope this helps! Xx S.

Q. Mycahlin – Hi, Shenae, this is Mycahlin and I live in Ohio. I know that you hear this everyday, but I love your sense of style, its amazing. It’s so inspiring. I don’t expect you to answer this, but I would like to know how you got your start. I know that you participated in a bunch of internships, and I would like to know if there is a trick to getting them. I would really like to work for the fashion industry when I graduate in a few years, and I think that it would be amazing advice. I’d like to hear it from someone who’s been there. I would also like to know if you think it would be better to take one internship and continue with the company in pursuit of a career or would it be better to take as many internships as possible and load up while I’m still young. Waving like an idiot from this insanely boring small town. -Mykie

A. Hey Mykie! It’s good to hear from you! I started as an intern at Fashion Television in Canada, which was Canada’s main fashion spot.  Being that it wasn’t New York City, it wasn’t as competitive to get an internship spot.   Snagging an internship can be rather difficult, but there are a couple of websites that post when different internship spots open.  One of them is www.ed2010.com , which posts editorial based internships.  In terms of amount of internships, I always say the more experience the better.  There are many different kinds of jobs in the fashion industry, and finding out which one you’re most passionate about is half the battle.  Good Luck! A. Hey Jay! Hello Kuwait!  I’m a big fan of anything that gets my heart rate up, so spinning and running are definitely my go-to workouts.  Xx S.

A. Hello Anna! And Hello London!!! Annie’s been through so much, it’s hard to pick my favorite storyline!  But I would have to say I love the fan’s response to Annie and Liam’s storyline. Xx S.

A. Hey Helena!  I’m not sure exactly what my favorite season is — the entire experience has been kind of surreal.  I do enjoy the later seasons when Annie seems to be more comfortable and comes into her own a little bit.  For seasons 5? I can’t reveal too much, but you’ll definitely be surprised! We like to keep things interesting on 90210. Xx S.

A. Hi Mathilda! So good to hear from you! I actually was interning at Fashion Television, a Canadian based fashion company, and decided to do a last minute audition tape for 90210.  From there, everything kind of just snowballed!  Xx S.

I wish I could visit someday as well, I hear it’s amazing!  I love all music, so picking one all-time favorite song would be next to impossible! haha.  But I do love this playlist.  Currently, I have shorter hair with some blonde highlights, which has been a great way to keep cool yet stylish this summer!  Xx S.

A. Hey Leia!  So good to hear from you! and hello to West Africa! Haha. With my make-up, I definitely try to keep it neutral.  Nothing too over the top and crazy.  I find myself putting more emphasis on my eye make-up than anything else.  And of course, washing off my make-up after a long day helps me keep my skin clear and fresh. Q. Angel –  Hi, I think you are so pretty I am a big fan of you I was just wondering what did you wear when you were in middle school?

A.  Hi Alexa! Good to hear from you!  Well being brand new to LA first season, I definitely was trying to find my groove in this crazy town — LA is completely different from Toronto.  But after a couple of years, I definitely feel more settled, relaxed and like I’ve got the hang of things. Xx S.

A. Hey Connor!  Awww thank you so much, that’s very sweet of you. It’s hard to pick out my FAVORITE outfit.  But I do enjoy this one — the simple blouse top, blue jean, nude heel and a simple pop of leopard is, in my opinion, the perfect lunch outfit. Xx S.
