I’m very adventurous, and that often times translates into my fashion aesthetic. I must admit, I’ve made some odd choices over the years! A while back, I attended an event for Chagoury Couture, and for some reason I decided to dress like a club kid. In a fearless attempt to up the ‘coolness’ factor, I started out with a metallic dress and paired it with a metallic jacket (why not!? They match, right?), and decided to top off the look with knee high fishnets. In the end, everything was way too matchy matchy and the proportions were all wrong. A good idea in theory, but somehow it backfired and didn’t turn out the way I had hoped! Oh well, life goes on. I’m all about learning from my mistakes and moving forward!

Clearly, for me, it was in school. I had a kind of professionnal day, where we had to present our studies. So we needed to have professional clothes. Like a suit for girl (I don’t really know what’s the name in English) ! So I put black heels with my pants, but damn it, no tights at home. So, I decided to wear white socks with my heels. (I watched it on a magazine, JP Gauthier commercial). But It was clearly to soon for that. My teachers and students was so chocked about it. They were watching me all day long. It was so unconfortable for me. It was 7 years ago, I was 16 years old. Bad time ! aha
to be fair, you pull it off pretty well. i’ve had zillios of mishaps over the years. a not so forgettable one was when i decided to get copper highlights on holiday and they came out ginger, had streaks of orange through my hair for a week until I got home :/
