Us LA folk spend a lot of time in our car and it’s my favorite place to blast some good tunes. Here’s a vibe-y playlist for a sunny cruise in your car!
These high-waisted vintage snake-print Guess denim shorts are always a fun pop to rock for the right occasion. This look can easily be taken from day to night with its cream and black combo. The vintage Chanel silk-pajama jacket is casual but classy and these lace-up Dolce Vita booties are comfy enough for errands but chic enough for a yummy dinner at Chateau! OBSESSED with these Oliver Peoples sunnies I got last year and JUST found tucked away in my vanity. Oh the joys of spring cleaning!
Thank you all so much for submitting your questions for my first Fan Friday Q&A! I’ve picked 5 of your questions to answer today and make sure you leave your questions for next week in the comments below.
Q. From Jenny: Love you in 90210, and I wanted to ask who or what is your fashion inspiration, because you are mine. Love you and your fashion. xoxox From London
A: Hey Jenny,
My fashion inspiration is the 60s/70s era of rock n roll, Steven Tyler and Jim Morrison are two major style icons for me! I also love Alexa Chung’s 40s conservative-prepster style when I’m getting dolled up for an event! Xx. S.
Q. From Dianne: When will your movie Sugar be released? Thanks
A. Hey Dianne,
Sadly, I have no answer for you yet but I SO appreciate you asking as the film was so close to my heart! Fingers crossed it makes it into a film festival so people can see the hard work we put into providing insight into the lives of homeless youth. The kids I met on the streets while filming this flick were some of the most brilliant and beautiful people I’ve ever come across, I’d love for this film to be seen for them. I’d love for society to open their ignorant eyes. Xx S.
For an early-evening screening I kept it sophisticated but fun! Pairing a sleeveless cream button-down and navy polka-dot A-line skirt (both from Reformation) was cute but needed some flair. I think these adorable Alice and Olivia polka dot wedges and patent Minkoff bag really punched up the look just the right amount for the occasion. Do you guys agree?
