Hot means 25C in the shade, which mean 35+ in the sun. We have little air conintdonniig compared to the US, relying more on thick walls and shades, expect the inside of the house to be a revigorating 23C, not a freezing 17C.Local 18 years old will wear dress, skirt or trousers and a nice top, flat ballerines or nice sandals rather than snickers, a bit of make up and some jewellery. They live there, so instead of wearing Tourist garb they make an effort to look pretty. Jeans are ubiquous of course but considered too warm for daytime wear. Shorts are a big no, they are like a neon sign saying: TOURIST!
