At Entertainment Weekly’s pre-Emmy party I wore a crew neck lace skater dress. I loved the floral pattern on the top half of dress and the bouncy feel of the skirt. I paired the look with vintage Valentino bow-tied heels.

Emmys-Inspired Metallic Gold Pants…
For Us Weekly’s makeover event I decided to take some inspiration from the 2012 Emmys statue and rock some gold. I paired a long-sleeve, tie-waist black shirt with cropped gold brocade pants. I topped the look off with pointy-toed black ankle strap heels. What do you think of my metallic statement pants?

My Top 5 Emmys Red Carpet Looks
From pop-of-color dresses to embellished and sheer paneled gowns, the 2012 Emmys red carpet was filled with amazing looks. My favorites had to be the dresses worn by January Jones, Ginnifer Goodwin, Kelly Osbourne, Cat Deeley, and Maria Menounos. January Jones stunned in a dramatic sheer black Zac Posen gown while Ginnifer Goodwin glowed in a bright tangerine Monique Lhuillier piece. Kelly Osbourne and Cat Deeley both went for asymmetrical one-shoulder dresses that showed off their amazing figures. Lastly, Maria Menounos rounded out my top five list by rocking two trends from the night — the sweetheart neckline and thigh-high slit. What was your favorite dress of the night?

Fall accessories bring to mind chunky scarves, oversized clutches and my personal favorite, boots. Isabel Marant’s Sailor fringed snake skin boots caught my eye as the perfect fall shoe. Its olive and black coloring, tassels and wooden triangle heels make stepping into fall so much more fashionable.

Twist & Shout
Braids are back but this time they get a royal edge when turned into crown-like woven masterpiece. I loved the messy wrap around braids that took the stage at Emerson’s Spring 2013 runway show. The dip-dyed black ends gave the ethereal braids a punky touch.
