Fan Fridays: Answering Your Questions

Hi guys!! So sorry I didn’t get around to answering your questions on Friday! It was a crazy day. But I went through your questions this weekend so here we go… as always, please leave your questions in the comments section and I’ll pick five to answer this Friday.

Q. From Joshua: Hey Shenae! I was wondering what do you look for in a guy and what does a guy have to do to win your heart. I am a huge fan and currently run Shenae-grimes.net! Your my ideal girl. Also any advice on a fellow aspiring actor! Love you!!

A: Hey Joshua — I have no clue what I look for in a guy to be honest, but I know I haven’t found him yet! If you really want to be an actor, my advice would be to find a great agent who is as passionate about your talent as much as you are. Most importantly, never never give up! It’s a really hard industry, that comes with a lot of rejection, which you should never take too personally. Work hard and dream big!

Q. From Mohamed: Hey, Shenae! I’m from Egypt, and believe it or not 90210 is really big here! Your hairstyle has changed dramatically over the years, starting from Degrassi and then 90210…My question is which hair style do you prefer best and whether or not you’re planning to get a new look and start another amazing hairstyle. (PS: you have to come and visit Egypt; I know you’ll really love it here XD)

A. Hey Mohamed – First off, I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt — thanks for the invite! I’ll definitely check it out one day. Yes, my hair is ever changing, nothing too out there, but always a little bit different. My favorite hairstyle was always my lighter brown look with gold highlights, but it was too damaging to my hair, so I had to learn to embrace my darker side.

Q. From ShenaeFan: What do you do in a bad hair day, coz it really sucks for all

A. Hey — I suggest to just throw it up in a top knot, and wear a great outfit. Never underestimate the juxtaposition between messy hair, and a stellar outfit.

Q. From Rachel Australia: When are you going to come and visit Australia Melbourne we have so many boho and indie stores! And if i ever met you i would honestly lose my shit :D – very much looking forward to sugar! X – Rachel

A. Hey Rachel — I’ve only heard the best things about Australia, but I have yet to have the opportunity to go. Hopefully in the near future I’ll be able to pay a visit to the land down under!

Q. From Alana: Hii Shenae! I love your wardrobe! I was watching the latest season of 90210,the episode No Good Deed and your character Annie organizes a fundraiser. The sequin top you wore was amazing, I wanted to know where I could purchase it! Thank you so much and I can’t wait for the new season!!!! -Alana

A. Hey Alana — I’m so sorry but I honestly can’t remember the name of the top! I do know, however, that Nordstrom Rack has some great sparkly selections, and the deals you can find there are amazing.
