Bus-top music party… The dance parade went through my area in NY this past weekend and upon our stroll home we couldn’t help but stop and stare at an amazing sight! There was a bright green school bus stopped on my street with a bunch of fun folk bangin away on drums and cowbells and we couldn’t help but join for a moment! Climbed atop and swayed in the trees to their awesome jams for a while… One of the many reasons I love this city!

First week of working at WGACA finished and I’m already run ragged! Stayed inside with a cold all weekend but I’m in NY baby so ain’t nothin’ gonna bring me down!

I’ve been hearing about the Coachella music festival from everyone and their mother ever since I moved to LA year ago, but never had the courage to check it out myself! I feared the overwhelming crowds and environment would be too much for my pseudo-social anxiety but FINALLY coaxed myself into going with my partner-in-crime Laura to only regret not going sooner! We had the best time at festival and I got to see some of my favorite bands. Between the fun with friends, the unbelievable array of music and the free spirited energy across the entire field, it’s a recipe for a good time and I highly recommend making the trip next year if you can! Thanks for rocking my world Coachella…

As my gay husband so kindly pointed out to me one afternoon before an event, my new makeup was making my face appear 20 shades lighter than the rest of my body and I needed a pro pronto! Oof! Lucky for me, his uber-talented make-up artist pal Daniele Piersons was available to doll me up for the evening. I’m normally very weary about getting my makeup done as you never know how someone will interpret your face but I could not have been happier with my look! My skin looked flawless without appearing cakey at all and her edgy eye makeup was exactly up my alley! Thanks for the amazing job Daniele!!!
